It’s cold

There’s nothing like seeing the forecast temperature trend head for the basement. Dig for those thick mittens, a scarf (preferably one that touts your soccer team of choice), thermal underwear, another pair of socks. Oh, and have all the fixings for a hot cuppa at the ready when you come in from the outside.
